Mission
To properly evaluate and assess the adequacy of the University’s financial systems’ internal controls, and provides independent appraisals to mitigate the risks and improve the effectiveness of the governance process
Goal and Objectives
- To ensure that the resources have been used effieciently and effectively;
- To help management improve control and processes in operations;
- To minimize the risk of errors and fraud that prevent the university from achieving its objectives;
- To ensure the accuracy and completeness of the accounting records;
- To ensure that the preparation of financial reports follows the applicable accounting standards;
- To ensure the reliability of internal controls;
- To ensure that the company complies with all relevant laws and regulations imposed by regulatory bodies and the government;
- To ensure that policies and procedures are followed by the staff at different levels;
- To prevent errors and irregularities in all transactions.
- To review financial, compliance and operating transactions for its accuracy and propriety.
