Vision
The UCU CSLD as a globally, nationally, and locally (glonacal) recognized center that molds competitive student leaders.
Mission
Maximize students’ personal, professional and leadership potentials through comprehensive, evidence-based, and globally upheld programs that are tailored based on the context of time, demography, and students’ nature, all geared towards their holistic transformation.
Goal and Objectives
- To extend academic support to students in their academic journeys by providing para- academic services.
- To develop holistic wellness of students through various trainings, workshops, simulations, immersion, socio-cultural activities, and other possible means.
- To continuously assess students’ needs as bases in developing programs and activities and evaluate the programs’ impact to the students and the whole academic community.
- To create a physically and psychologically safe learning community by promoting a culture of equality, sensitivity, and respect through values formation programs and collaboration with other units in the institution.
- To outsource financial support and scholarship grants for students by engaging with government agencies, NGOs, NGAs and private entities.
- To forge linkages with glonacal (global, national, local) institutions for the purpose of collaboration in different ventures, to include, but not limited to leadership trainings, volunteering activities, joint research ventures, and sharing of student affairs and services best practices.
- To assist students and alumni in their career growth and development through collaboration with government agencies, NGOs, NGAs, and private institutions that are particularly involved in employment, entrepreneurship, and professional development.
